The ‘Carte Noire’ cuvée, aged in oak barrels, is one of the main examples of the quality approach at the cellar of the Vignerons du Mont Ventoux which helps to propose exceptional styles of AOC Ventoux wines made from a selection of terroirs. This wine is a cherry red colour with violet glints. It has a complex nose with fruity aromas of cherry and blackberry, and spicy and exotic notes of liquorice, vanilla and coconut. On the palate, the attack is rich. A fresh structure allows real appreciation of all the aromatic nuances already encountered in the nose. This classy wine has a very persistent finish revealing very elegant mineral notes.
