VENTOUX – VIEILLES VIGNES – Red – 2017

The Ventoux ‘Vieilles Vignes’ cuvée comes from a terraced vineyard of orange-yellow loamy soil, situated south of the village of Bedoin. The old vine stocks of Grenache, Carignan and Syrah combined with the deep and fresh soil produce grapes with superb potential.

Freshness and elegance sum up this garnet-coloured wine with its supple and smooth tannins. The high sunshine levels enjoyed by the vines allow the grapes to ripen fully and make for a round and supple wine. This cuvée expresses aromas of lightly stewed red berries. It is silky and fruity on the palate with a hint of morello cherry on the finish. An indulgent wine with notes of blackberry and real character on the palate.
